NORMAN PARKINSON

His long association with Vogue, his shaping of 60s fashion bible Queen, and his ability to create flawless, gorgeously glamorous images has made Norman Parkinson one of the most respected and influential photographers of our time. Iconic shots of incredible beauty; actions, reactions, and parts being played, his work was theatrical, flamboyant, and had a quintessentially British sense of humour that the fashion world fell in love with. To celebrate the launch of Louise Baring’s latest book, Norman Parkinson: A Very British Glamour, we’ll be heading down to Somerset House, where a selection of his greatest works will be on display. So, from 9th October until 31st of January, if you see a lot of people around Topshop HQ rocking some serious old school glamour, you’ll know why! And best of all, it’s free.
