Andy Warhol once said that 'good business is the best art'. It certainly is when it comes to the Tate Modern’s latest exhibition – Pop Life: Art in a Material World. In looking at how the godfather of Pop Art has influenced generations of practitioners since, the exhibition seeks to uncover the ways in which art has transcended cultural boundaries and engaged with audiences both inside and outside galleries.
As well as raising the question of whether art and commerce can happily exist at once, the museum has successfully brought together a brilliant collection of extraordinary pieces from celebrated artists like Jeff Koons, Keith Haring, Tracey Emin and Warhol himself.
The rarity of so many iconic works all in one place is quite enough for us to get excited about! So be sure to head down before January 17th – it's a riot of colour and cultural milestones!
