The era of pussy-bow blouses, floppy hats, heaps of eye liner and Fara Fawcett hair is on the cusp of making a comeback! So when one of the buyers wandered past in these amazing floral flares, we had to take a snap. Follow suit and get this super chic, laidback vibe by teaming wide-leg pants with an oversized sweater, wooden platforms and stacked bangles. Get set to see these out and about, they’re going to be at Topshop soon…
Listen to this to get you in the mood! We are …
During June, we're holding our very own bandstand picnics in aid of the amazing charity, Teenage Cancer Trust! So start planning your best picnic look and get excited to see the cream of the music crop strut their stuff. There are even a few special guests making appearances so keep your eyes peeled.
In the name of good fun, they'll also be old-school sports day events with amazing prizes up for grabs, festival face decoration, delicious cupcakes, and roller skates available to hire! Presented by Jameela Jamil and Miquita Oliver, it's set to be one stylish afternoon out. So come along and see how we've given the good old picnic a Topshop touch! We've even got a special area where you can relax on loungers with skin care products on hand, as well as ponchos should it rain…
All profits will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust, the amazing charity dedicated to improving the lives of young people with cancer. With the belief that teenagers shouldn't stop being teenagers because they have cancer, they build specialist units in NHS hospitals where young people can be treated together, in an environment suited to their needs.
This is the perfect way to have fun and help a great cause!

For the last 40 years, high fashion mecca Browns and its patron, the inimitable Mrs B, have been bringing amazing clothes from around the world into one gorgeous boutique. We often saunter by for a whiff of the sartorial wonder that lies within! And we'll be taking a stroll that way again, sharpish, because, until May 30th, the iconic store is holding Browns: 40 Years of Fashion Innovation.
Images; courtesey of Brown's blog, Miss B. Clothes Missoni & Ossie Clark; John Galliano with portraits of the designer and Amanda Harlech; Alexander McQueen.
This celebratory exhibition explores the history of this world-famous boutique and the brands that it has nurtured. There are archived pieces from labels like Comme de Gacrons, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen for your browsing pleasure, alongside specially-shot photographs by Paolo Roversi of fashion insiders wearing Browns' finest.
It’s free to get in and has been curated by Simon Costin, who used to produce McQueen's infamously outlandish shows. It's only on until the end of this week, so get your skates on and go have a look-see at a genuine piece of fashion history!
If you can't get down to London, a limited-edition of Brown's first ever book is available to buy online. This beautiful keepsake includes interviews, exclusive specially commissioned images by Paolo Roversi, contributions from designers and ambassadors' that have worked with Browns and stunning archive pictures that will fill you with delight over years to come.
We’re huge lovers of cake in all its forms, but never more than when it’s cute and comes in shades made to make your mouth water. That’s why this week we’ve been mainly drooling over the pages of I Love Macarons – a book dedicated entirely to one of our favourite miniature desserts. Haute-pastry-maker Hisako Ogita walks her readers through the usually difficult baby steps of macaroon making and allows amateur bakers, like ourselves, to produce unbelievably tasty treats at home!
If you can't quite muster the will to make your own, though, why not take a trip down to Selfridges where a gorgeous new Pierre Herme boutique has just opened, serving up his infamous macaroons alongside handmade chocolates and a little slice of Parisian chic. Desserts we don’t have to make ourselves? Sign us up!
