A rich palette of navy, black and white was punctuated with occasional bursts of bright olive and sunshine yellow – nerdy colours worn perfectly together. Oversized cocoon coats sheltered sheath-like roll necks and light reflected off high-shine coats, trousers and shoes. The feeling was one of outright luxury. These were simple pieces that sold Tait's ethos: clothes should exist to be worn.

Crumpled velvet and stand-up collars lent an archaic glamour to the proceedings and a haughty minimalism hovered over every look. This was grown up dressing for girls who know exactly what they want. Sleek, expertly cut and utterly beautiful – we know we'll be seeing a lot more from this incredible talent.
