Did you hear our extremely exciting news? JW Anderson is coming to Topshop! It's just been confirmed (yes, only earlier today!) that one of the shining lights of the London fashion scene is bringing his unique take on print, knitwear and tailoring to us via a collaboration that's guaranteed to create a fashion frenzy.

It's easy to see why we're huge fans of this young British talent! JW Anderson is one of the NEWGEN designers we sponsor at London Fashion Week and was nominated for the Emerging Talent Award at the 2011 British Fashion Awards. Having launched his label in 2008, JW originally focused just on menswear, but introduced womenswear after much demand from buyers and admirers of his work – something we are truly thankful for! His designs are always innovative yet elegant, as he draws from a wealth of artistic references and intelligent ideas.

As JW Anderson told us: "I am very excited to collaborate with Topshop.  It gives me the opportunity to reach a much wider audience with my designs. It has always been very important to me that my collections are made accessible to anyone interested in fashion and design."

What's more, along with a selection of jersey, denim, knits and outerwear, the JW Anderson Topshop colllaboration will also include a selection of curiosities, stationery, books and magazines that will be curated by the designer himself. All we can say is this – roll on September, when this collaboration arrives in store!
