What… Ryan Lo. Hong Kong born, London educated – Lo has a penchant for anything colorful and anything bold!

Where… 50 St James St – in a room wall-to-wall with disco tinsel.

Who… Plenty of industry insiders passing through the presentation under the watchful eyes of Fashion East champion Lulu Kennedy.

The collection in 5 words… frou-frou, glitter, pink and WOW!

What we loved…  It was every girlie girl’s dream! There was no-holds barred with this collection. Rose red, baby pink and magenta took over with knee-length lace skirts and intricate glitter camisoles. Frocks were appliqued in wild decorations with what seemed like little method. Think ’80s Christmas decorations dyed in an array of pinks.

Hero piece… The unimaginably soft, acid-pink feathered jacket. We just wanted to lay it on the floor and roll around in it!

Hair loving… Tight top-knots, plaited twin buns and 2os-style mini fringes that juxtaposed nicely with the clothes’ strong maximalist trend.

Beauty notes… Dark berry and red-ruby lips with doll-like blusher.

Inspired by… Studio 54, Wong Kar-wai’s screen sirens and Christian Lacroix’s show-stopping gowns.
