Celebrating over 50 years of awe-inspiring work from the master couturier, Valentino (who just so happens to be one of our personal favourite designers), this November will see the Embankment Galleries at Somerset House transformed into a 60-metre runway – and the best part? This time, you’ll play the model strutting the catwalk, while Valentino’s stunning creations look on in awe from their curated sidelines.
Our hearts are a-fluttering just thinking about it. Featuring dresses from couture and the red carpet, plus those commissioned by private clients, the retrospective allows for an exclusive first glance at designs that have never previously been seen by the British public.

Expect to be taken on a journey through the glamourous wardrobes of first ladies, princesses and Hollywood starlets from handcrafted pieces worn by Grace Kelly and Sophia Loren to Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Princess Marie-Chantal’s incredible wedding dresses, plus Julia Roberts’ infamous vintage number, which she wore to accept her Oscar for her portrayal of Erin Brockovich in 2001. If the house of Valentino is good enough for them, its more than good enough for us!
