We love a charitable cause, especially when it indulges our fashion fixation. Cue Children in Need’s Pudsey Bear like you’ve never seen him (or in some cases, her) before…
Yes, our favourite teddy has been given some luxury TLC by no less than 30 designers and all in the name of charity; we’re talking Burberry, McQueen (above), Balenciaga, Prada, Loewe (below) – it’s the ultimate who’s who in fashion and even Vogue has weaved its fashion wand to transform Pudsey’s sunshine yellow fur into a patchwork of editorial inspiration.
Curated by Love magazine editor and uber-stylist, Katie Grand, the selection of one-off 24-inch bears will be exhibited in Selfridges London and Manchester until the 14th November, after which they will be auctioned off at Christies, with all proceeds going towards Children in Need.
And for a limited period you can buy your very own 10-inch version of either Anya Hindmarch (above) or Paul Smith’s offerings (pictured above) at Selfridges – cuddly couture for your Christmas stocking? Go on then.
We’ve picked out our personal favourites here but tell us which ones you love the most!
