BOWLED OVER IN BROOKLYN

The Rolling Stones have called it ‘one of the most incredible places on earth’, so you can imagine our excitement to hear that the Brooklyn Bowl has crossed the pond to London! Opened in a Williamsburg warehouse back in 2009, it’s one of New York’s hottest hipster hangouts and a favourite for celebs to test out their skills on the lanes.

Found in the O2 arena, the London outpost offers an almost identical replica – offering 12 beautifully designed bowling lanes, complete with a restaurant and three separate bars. More than just a bowling joint, the venue also plays host to some of the best gigs in town and for some O2 shows they’ll be streaming live performances from the arena’s main stage. Food-wise, you can chow down on sloppy joes and fried chicken from all-American chain Blue Ribbon.

Not content with just one opening night, the launch party went on for three, with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Ellie Goulding and Kelly Brook turning up to enjoy a spot of bowling. If it’s good enough for this lot, it’s definitely good enough for us!
