MYKROMAG

WatchmenPhotograph from Jak & Jil. Featuring Christian William Van Damme - Features Editor of Mykromag, Charles Guislain, Sonny Groo - Editor-in-Chief of Mykromag, Aynouk Tan - Contributing Editor - and Jean Paul Paula - Fashion Director of Mykromag.Mycromag-use2

Sonny Groo, also known as Abdul Lagerfeld (who was famously captured by Jak & Jil along with some of his team), has just launched the first issue of his online magazine - Mykromag.

In black and white, it may look clean and simple, but it's full of inspirational and intriguing material.

Alongside profiles with industry figures, such as Simon Robins - fashion director of Russian Vogue - are shoots and interviews with up-and-coming designers such as Toon Geboers, currently a student at the Royal Academie of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

And as for the drawings by Singapore based Dinie Rahman and Ridhwan Sesapar - we can't take our eyes of them!

DAY OF THE DEAD

KATE-NECKLACE-USE2

One of our visual merchandisers came in wearing this skull necklace to celebrate the launch of our new collection, Day Of The Dead! Love how we've swapped our Topshop polka dots for skulls.

CHARITY STYLE

FTBC-tee-use

We spotted one of the visual merchandisers running around the office in one of our Fashion Targets Breast Cancer tees and had to take a pic. With 30% of the price of each tee going to charity, this is fashion with a cause!

Last year, Manhattan-born art and animation director Ami Plasse posted around 800 sketches on his blog done during his commute on the New York subway.

Frequented by just about every character you can think of, Ami's sketches are fascinating to look a. Jotted into his Moleskine sketchbook which fits in his back pocket perfectly, he doodles for around 20-40 miutes each day.

Now documenting almost every ride he takes, make sure you check out Ami's blog! You might even spot yourself if you ride the New York subway...

For more, check out his flickr, named amirocks. We love his sketches of New York's hipsters!

Welcome
