KATE'S CAFÉ

June 08, 2009

We came across Kate Jenkins' work while browsing through Amelia's Magazine and had to let you know about her first solo exhibition at the Charlotte Street Gallery

From 6 - 27 June, the gallery has been transformed into Kate's Café, a fantasy caf full of knitted bits and bobs that look good enough to ea. From fish and chips in newspaper to candy coloured cup cakes and Kate's Tomato Stitchup, Kate transforms rolls of yarn into gastronomic fancies!

You may be able to enjoy a cup of tea and piece of cake while on your visit, but just don't expect to have your PG tips out of Kate's knitted cups and saucers!
