CALLING ALL BUDDING ARTISTS!

August 25, 2009

Image-use The new Topshop/ Topman store is set to open in Liverpool on September 18th and we're currently on the hunt for a budding artist to help us add the finishing touches.

So if you fancy having your work featured in our new store, make sure you enter our latest competition where the winner will have the chance to design the central staircase area that runs through every floor. The wall is approximately 3m wide and a massive 14m tall so this is a great opportunity to really show us what you can do!

The winner will be picked by Tim Whitmore and Paul Drummond, creative directors of Topshop and Topman and will preferably have their own team of helpers. You will have five days to complete the wall and we will provide an extra two people to help with painting if necessary. The wall will need to be done between September 10th - 15th, so the closing date for all entries is Thursday, September 3rd, 2009. Entrants need to submit their design ideas to Gemma Boner at Topman by post, either on disk or on paper to: Colegrave House, 70 Berners Street, London, W1T 3NL. Entries should be marked "Liverpool design competition."

And what do you win? Well apart from having your work seen by thousands and thousands of shoppers and featured all over the local press, you'll receive £200 to spend instore.

Good luck!

This looks great, such a great idea to get young artists involved. I would totally love to do this but I don't think I have the time :(
