DANIELLE SCUTT SS10
September 19, 2009
The moment the first model stepped onto Danielle Scutt’s catwalk with her Betty Rubble inspired hair and glittery fuchsia lips, we knew this was going to be a collection that London’s bright young things would have fun getting dressed-up in!
As full skirted dresses with nipped in waists and long sleeved bodycon numbers made their way down the catwalk in a variety of surreal prints – polka dots, gingham, swirls and Tribal patterns included – Danielle’s palette wavered from electric yellow and black to red and white.
Adding to the playful ‘Alice In Wonderland’ feel were girly bloomers, shirt and skirt sets that resembled pyjamas and jackets with peplum hems that we’re teamed with skin-tight pencil skirts.
And we’re sure Danielle’s strong shouldered, ultra short summer dresses will be a hit with the young set sat up front.
Organza frIlls, metallic leather, pompoms and exposed zips added the fantastical inishing touches, making us want to play!

This is so refreshing.
Finally some femininity, i was getting a bit sick of dominatrix.
