To celebrate the SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution exhibition at Somerset House, we’ve got you a great two for one ticket offer!

Packed with innovative projects from SHOWstudio’s impressive archive - featuring fashion greats such as Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Gareth Pugh, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss - this is one exhibition you don’t want to miss.

There’s never seen before footage that's been put together especially for the exhibition as well as great interactive elements and areas that offer you once-in-a-lifetime opportunities! With live fashion shoots taking place in the exhibition's pop-up studio, a casting machine which gives you your chance to be spotted and much much more, this is one of the best exhibitions to hit London in a while!

MOONMILK

We’ve been meaning to get down to the Alison Jaques Gallery to see Ryan McGinley's newest exhibition, but London Fashion Week kept getting in the way!

The photographer has travelled through previously un-chartered subterranean territory to produce a collection of 24 incredible images. The conditions were treacherous, the lighting was non-existent and the models were wearing no more than their birthday suits, but each picture manages to somehow capture the awesome power of nature. We were struck by the sense of scale, of seeing an image and then realising that somewhere in it is a tiny person. Not to mention the vivid colours and quiet sense of total isolation.

YES 1

It’s running from 11 September – 8 October and we’d definitely recommend it. How often do you get to see such dramatic, underground scenery? Plus, it’s close enough to Topshop to indulge in a heavy load of retail therapy. Culture and shopping all in one day? Sounds perfect.

SHOW ME YOUR TOPSHOP WINNER, JACKIE DIXON REPORTING!

A big thank you to everyone who came down to show us their Topshop. The Style Advisors did a grand job styling you all up and we met so many brilliant people, and as for all the energy - loving that!

I'm very proud to announce that our winners are the lovebirds from South London, Sinnead and Michael. They look so effortlessly cool with their Topshop head accessories - her in a bow and him in a straw hat, I just couldn't resist.

KTZ SS10

KTZ are fast becoming one of London’s most exciting, cutting-edge brands and we’ve had an absolute blast hosting them in our Edit pop-up shop in our Oxford Circus store!

We headed down to their show to check out what the labels’ designers Sasko Bezovski and Marjan Pejoski will be bringing us next season. What we got was a tribal-high-school-futuristic collection that made us want to shop shop shop!

Top shop baby pink metal

The show put a crazy futuristic twist on the classic preppy, prom and cheerleader styles of US high schools. KTZ love to play freely with proportion and structure and this season it was the fabrics and prints that were larger than ever – keep your eyes peeled for the vintage Versace print!

TOP SHOP metal2

We loved the versatile footwear and the detachable leg brace boots and everybody fell for the pretty candy stripe pieces. Models sauntered out with cool-girl attitude, making even the casual pieces stand out!

TOP SHOP STRIPES

Hair (by Lyndell Mansfield) was pulled back tight and styled into starbursts of plaits, and make up (by Andrew Gallimore) was metallic yet minimalist. The look was boosted with heavy brows and an even heavier attitude!

We love KTZ because they’re an underground label doing something totally different. They push the boundaries of city style to create truly cool, statement pieces for a youth culture that demands to be seen. It’s confident and brave and we all wish we were as gutsy as KTZ!
