IT'S NICE THAT LAUNCH ISSUE #3
April 07, 2010
Apart from the lovely get togethers that It's Nice That throw, what's so great about their work is that they stay up to date with studios and individuals, discover new talent to feature daily in their online archive, and bring them all together in the beautifully designed bi-annual which they publish every six months.
Issue #3 is packed with inspiring works which we can't wait to mull over on a Sunday afternoon with a large cup of tea. Highlights include an interview with the graphic design superstar Milton Glaser who designed the I Love New York logo to a feature on art director John Paul Thurlow who has become known for adding value to magazines with his illustrated covers. And we loved the fantastic ‘Oh yes very nice how much?’ Parra print that came in the back of the issue! That’s one to go on the wall.
For a daily dose of inspiration, be sure to check out their online platform but for something that you can keep and cherish, you can't beat buying their bi-annual which features the best work shown on their site from over the last six months. Focusing on and created by practitioners from all over the world, this will be a great addition to your bookshelf. Check out where you can get a copy here. And if you want to see the work's featured in this issue, a pop-up launch exhibition and shop is open at Sir Paul Smith’s showroom Tuesday April 6 - Saturday 10. Open 12pm - 6pm (Until 8.30 on Thursday 8th).
