NEW SEASON, NEW HOME!

London Fashion Week is getting closer and goodness, are we busy! From finding a new venue for the Topshop show space to sponsoring NewGen and Fashion East, as well as working on our designer collaborations and designing Unique's SS11 collection that's set to make its way down the catwalk on Saturday 18th, we've got London Fashion Week on the brain.

This season is set to be super exciting, with Topshop Unique, Meadham Kirchhoff, Michael Van Der Ham, Mary Katrantzou, Richard Nicoll, Peter Pilotto and Fashion East showing in our brand spanking new space!

We've been sworn to secrecy for ever so long and have been dying to tell you that this season, we'll be hosting a raft of the week's most exciting shows at the old Eurostar Terminal in Waterloo.

Just a stone's throw away from the home of London Fashion Week (Somerset House), fashion's finest will be strutting across Waterloo bridge in their new season wares! The terminal is about to get a serious make-over - keeping the style set well fed on one platform, and holding the shows on another.

Sound fun? We think so too! Be sure to check back in the run up, as well as during London Fashion Week, which takes place from 17th - 22nd September. We'll be bringing you all the backstage action as our design team get ready for the Topshop Unique show, as well as all the front row action from fashion's front row. 

PUT A RING ON IT

Last week, we ran into Vogue.com's Jessica Bumpus who happened to be wearing one of Freedom's many amazing rings. We had an instant pang of jealousy and are sure you’ll be happy to know that this long winged beauty has just arrived in silver! We can’t wait to start sporting it with our new season wares...

GOOD TIMES AT GOODWOOD

Yesterday we piled into a convertible, dropped the top down and set off on a mini road trip to Vintage at Goodwood - and boy were we in for a treat! We hopped out at the gorgeous estate and took a moment to touch up our lippy, before following the impeccably dressed crowds over grass and through woodland to the front gates, picking up our brilliant timepiece wristbands on our way.

The setting was strewn with bunting and immaculate style; girls and boys alike were decked out in their finest, with prim hair and red lips the order of the day. A wander down the Great British High Street, hosting a Fortnum and Mason, an olde worlde cinema and a traditional English pub, was like being cast back to the 50s! We had a bit of a motor moment over the gorgeous array of vintage cars and bikes on show and are already making plans to start up our own 60s knitting group (with mandatory themed dressing, of course!)



Past the roller disco we followed the yellow brick road and spied some lovely bicycles before stopping awhile to listen to one of the many outdoor musical acts. We munched on fish and chips while watching the Grazia Best in Show parade and got excited all over again about cinched-in waists and wearing hats - something we’ll definitely be channelling next season. There were tents full of art, doll-making stands and places to sit with a nice cup of tea. After running around for a while trying to capture as many stylish girls as we could we headed over to the main stage to sing along with 80s legends Heaven 17 before heading back, tired but happy, to our car to zoom off into the sunset in headscarves and shades.
